Delete Account

Overview

This page explains how to delete your data and account from Local AI Hub. Since Local AI Hub is designed with privacy in mind, most of your data is stored locally on your device.

Good news: Because Local AI Hub stores data locally, you have full control over your data. No data is stored on our servers unless you explicitly use server synchronization features.

Option 1: Delete Data Within the App

The fastest way to delete your data:

Step 1

Open Local AI Hub on your device

Step 2

Go to Settings (bottom right tab)

Step 3

Scroll down to Advanced section

Step 4

Tap "Delete Data" (red button)

Step 5

Confirm the deletion when prompted

Warning: This action cannot be undone. All your chats, settings, profiles, and folders will be permanently deleted.

Option 2: Uninstall the App

Uninstalling the app removes all local data:

Long-press the Local AI Hub icon on your home screen
Tap "Remove App" or the minus icon
Confirm by tapping "Delete App"

This removes:

All chat history
All server configurations
All app settings
All folders and organization

Option 3: Delete Server Data

If you used OpenWebUI or another server with synchronization, your data may also exist on that server.

For OpenWebUI servers:

Log into your OpenWebUI instance via web browser
Go to Settings or Account
Delete your account or data there

For self-hosted Ollama:

Ollama does not store personal data. Your conversations are processed but not saved on the server.

Note: We (Maison Lunaire Recordings) do not operate any servers that store your data. Any server-side data is on servers you configured yourself.

What Data is Deleted?

Deleted immediately:

All chat conversations and messages
All server profiles and configurations
All folders and organizational structure
All app preferences and settings
All cached data and temporary files

Not affected:

Data on your own servers (you must delete this separately)
Apple App Store purchase history (managed by Apple)
Premium subscription status (managed by Apple)

Cancel Premium Subscription

If you have a Premium subscription, deleting the app does not cancel it. To cancel:

Open the Settings app on your iPhone/iPad
Tap your Apple ID at the top
Tap Subscriptions
Find Local AI Hub
Tap Cancel Subscription
